3. Bookings and Payments

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. A deposit may be required to secure your booking, with the full balance due by a specified date prior to departure. Payment terms and cancellation policies vary by trip and will be clearly communicated at the time of booking. Failure to make payments by the due dates may result in the cancellation of your booking.

4. Prices and Surcharges

Prices for our services are quoted in the currency specified and are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to impose surcharges for unforeseen increases in costs such as fuel, currency fluctuations, or government taxes, up to thirty days before departure. Should a surcharge exceed a certain percentage of the trip cost, you will have the option to cancel and receive a full refund, excluding non-refundable deposits.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation policies are specific to each tour or service and will be provided at the time of booking. Generally, cancellations made closer to the departure date may incur higher cancellation fees. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to the specific terms outlined in your booking agreement. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance.

6. Travel Insurance

It is a condition of booking that all travelers have adequate travel insurance for the duration of their trip. This insurance should cover personal accident, medical expenses, emergency repatriation, loss of luggage, and cancellation or curtailment of your booking. We are not responsible for any losses incurred due to a lack of appropriate insurance coverage.

7. Passports, Visas, and Health

You are responsible for ensuring that you hold valid passports, visas, permits, and vaccination certificates required for your chosen destination(s) and any transit points. We can provide general advice, but it is your responsibility to confirm all requirements with the relevant authorities. We accept no responsibility if you are denied entry to any country due to non-compliance with these requirements.

8. Itinerary Changes & Unforeseen Circumstances

While we endeavor to operate all tours as advertised, the nature of river and delta travel means itineraries may need to be adjusted due to weather conditions, water levels, local events, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. We reserve the right to make changes to itineraries, accommodations, or activities if necessary. In such cases, we will strive to offer suitable alternatives of a comparable standard. We are not liable for any additional costs incurred as a result of such changes.

9. Limitation of Liability

Confluence Travels acts as an agent in arranging travel services and does not own or operate the vessels or other suppliers used in our tours. We exercise due diligence in selecting reputable suppliers. However, we are not liable for any injury, damage, loss, delay, or expense caused by any act or omission of any independent third-party supplier, or by acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, or any other force majeure event. Our liability for any claim shall not exceed the total cost of the services paid by you.

10. Your Conduct

You agree to behave in a responsible manner and respect local customs, laws, and the environment during your trip. We reserve the right to remove any participant from a tour who, in our sole discretion, acts in a disruptive or dangerous manner, without refund.

All content on our online platform, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Confluence Travels or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without our express written permission.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

13. Amendments to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our online platform. Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
